Background: I started racing back in 1998, on a 1989 KX 80. I won my first race at Oatfield raceway in Northern California, in the beginner class. After that I left all the regular sports, and raced as much as I could. After about 1 year in the beginner class, I moved up to the 80 Novice class. I raced that class for about 1 and a half years and then got too big for 80s. In my first 125 Novice race, I got 13th out of 39 other novices at one of the Lorretta Lynn qualifiers at Glen Helen Raceway. I then decided to also race the 250 Novice class. I moved up to the Intermediate class in about a year, and I raced both Intermediate classes for another 6 months, until some drama happenned. My parents got divorced and I didn't have the support so I had to get a job to afford the norm; food, clothes, gas, etc. So I didn't race for about 1 and half years. That was rough. I saved any money I could, and by December 2003 I had myself a brand new '04 CRF 450. I rode that as much as I could and even made it to the 2004 World Mini's in Las Vegas.
