Pre Printed Background install tips

DISCLAIMER
These tips are meant to assist you on applying your decals. We do not guarantee that these tips will make you install your decals perfect! This is only a tip and is meant to assist you. If you think your way is better, do it that way. We have applied many backgrounds and have found that this is the easiest way to get them on with no wrinkles and perfectly aligned.

1. Order your pre printed backgrounds from us, they are thick, durable, and we give you more options than any other company.
2. You just opened your package that got to you super fast! (you would think that this is a sales pitch!) Open them up and check them out and start cleaning your plastics. Make sure to get off any old glue and residue. Now that they are clean it is time to slap them on.

(a) Front plate Start with the front number plate applying it dry, it's the easiest.
Peel the paper backing all the way off. As you hold the bottom off of the plate align the top and any holes, just set the decal on the top edge aligning it and ONLY SET THE FIRST 3/4 INCH DOWN ON THE PLATE, HOLD THE REST UP WITH YOUR OTHER HAND (it will probably take a few times getting it aligned). Know that it is perfectly aligned start working the decal downward going side to side with your thumb. To prevent bubbles don't skip any space as you move down. Bam! Your done!
(b) Apply Left side plate then the Right side

USE THIS METHOD... (Do it somewhere warm-not in the freezing cold but not in direct sunlight)
Peel the paper completely off. Lay the decal on the plate and align up the decal where you want it but don't push it down all over. Now that it's aligned you need to start at the middle where the curve is(on the 4 strokes).
1. Start at the middle, with your thumb work it out to the edge horizontally (left to right). Keep doing this as you work the decal to the bottom of the plate. As you near the bottom it may start to get bigger wrinkles but just work them out with your thumb.
2. Work from the middle to the top using the same technique as you just did. As you get to the top you might need to get out the blow dryer to help the rest go down smoothly, if so get out the blow dryer and hold it about 8 inches away and turn it on on warm and only do it for about 3 seconds and work the rest down. DO NOT BLOW DRY IT TOO LONG OR YOU CAN RUIN THE DECAL! Go back to the bottom part and finish putting that back down.
YOUR DONE!
LET THEM SIT FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE YOU GO RIDING TO ENSURE PROPER ADHESION.
